Who We Are
Gupi Mobile is a UK Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). We are the Data Controller for personal data you provide when using our services. Contact: [email protected].
What We Collect
- Name and email address (account registration)
- SIM phone number and identifier (service provisioning)
- Usage data: calls, SMS, data consumption (billing and support)
- Payment reference (via Stripe — we never see your full card number)
- Device and IP information (security and fraud prevention)
Why We Use It
- To provide, activate, and manage your mobile service
- To process payments and handle billing queries
- To send service-related notifications (plan renewals, OTPs)
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations (Ofcom, HMRC)
- To detect and prevent fraud
Who Sees It
We share data only with our network partner (Tata Communications), payment processor (Stripe), and cloud infrastructure provider (AWS). We never sell your data.
How Long We Keep It
Account data is retained for 6 years after account closure. Payment records are kept for 7 years (HMRC requirement). Usage records are kept for 12 months.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. You can also object to certain types of processing. Email [email protected] to make a request. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
