Modern Slavery Policy
Last updated: 1 May 2025
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Gupi Mobile has taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.
Our Business
Gupi Mobile is a UK Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) providing SIM-only mobile telecommunications services to consumers in the United Kingdom. We are registered in England and Wales. Our operations are primarily digital — we do not operate physical retail outlets or manufacturing facilities.
Our Supply Chains
Our key suppliers and partners include:
- Mobile network infrastructure and SIM provisioning (Tata Communications)
- Cloud hosting and email infrastructure (Amazon Web Services)
- Payment processing (Stripe)
- SIM card manufacturing and logistics (third-party supplier)
We only work with reputable, established suppliers who are subject to legal and regulatory requirements in their own jurisdictions.
Our Policies
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships. We implement and enforce systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains. Our internal policies include:
- Recruitment processes that verify the right to work in the UK for all employees
- Fair pay practices in line with or above National Living Wage
- Clear whistleblowing procedures so staff can report concerns confidentially
Due Diligence
We conduct due diligence on significant new suppliers by reviewing their publicly available policies and, where appropriate, requesting evidence of their own modern slavery compliance. We expect all suppliers to uphold standards consistent with our own.
Training and Awareness
All members of our team are made aware of modern slavery risks and their responsibility to report concerns. We review this policy annually.
Reporting Concerns
If you have concerns about modern slavery in connection with Gupi Mobile or any of our suppliers, please contact us at [email protected]. Reports can be made anonymously. You can also contact the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
